COLUMBUS, Ind. — Former Columbus residents Dr. Amanda Dornfeld and husband David and their family will be featured on the HGTV show “House Hunters International” at 10:30 p.m. today.
The Dornfelds now live in Whitianga, New Zealand, with their three children. They mentioned on social media that they possibly would have a small watch party in New Zealand.
“It was very fun seeing how things work behind the scenes,” Amanda Dornfeld said on Facebook. “The crew were so professional and patient with us. They were just 100 percent the best. It also was very exhausting.”
Their segment was filmed over a four-day period. The show’s guidelines understandably restrict the scope of participants’ pre-airing comments.
The couple hopes to return to Columbus this summer. Amanda Dornfeld hopes to open her own medical practice, Sage Direct Care and Sage Breastfeeding Medicine.
David Dornfeld plans to launch his own accounting business.
“We’ll be busy entrepreneurs,” Amanda Dornfeld said.
