Florida Gulf Coast’s Cortney VanLiew has been named the ASUN Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season and seventh in her career, the third most of any player in ASUN history.
VanLiew, a senior from Columbus East, recorded 17 kills, six digs, two assists and a block in Sunday’s win at North Florida. She then led the Eagles to a straight-set win on Monday at North Florida with a team-high 16 kills to go along with 11 digs, one block and one ace.
