COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Emergency Management has lowered the county’s travel designation to an advisory level.

Advisory is the lowest level of local travel advisory, means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.

Most roads are in decent shape and crews are continuing to clear them, emergency management officials said. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing Thursday night so caution is advised if driving tonight.
