Columbus North senior Royce Lofton has decided to continue his football career at Franklin College.
Lofton recorded 85 tackles, including four sacks, and had an interception, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt in helping the Bull Dogs to a 6-3 record and a Conference Indiana title. He was an All-Conference selection.
Lofton is the fourth North senior football player to commit to a college. He joins Luke Bless (University of Indianapolis), J.J. Montgomery (Marian) and Eshaan Patel (DePauw).

Cathedral replaces Cincinnati Mt. Healthy on the North schedule. The Bull Dogs were to travel to Mt. Healthy last fall, but had an open week after Mt. Healthy had to reschedule a conference game.
