BLOOMINGTON — Ali Patberg scored 17 of her team-high 21 points in the first half Thursday to lead No. 14 Indiana to a 70-65 Big Ten women’s basketball win against No. 11 Michigan.
Patberg, a senior from Columbus North, went 8 of 18 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line. She added four rebounds and three assists for the Hoosiers (14-4, 12-2), who moved into a tie with Maryland atop the Big Ten standings.
Grace Berger had 16 points for Indiana, while Aleksa Gulbe added 13 points and seven rebounds. Naz Hillmom led the Wolverines (12-2, 7-2) with 23 points.
