Law went 3-1 Friday and Saturday to finish third in the 160-pound weight class in the Wrestling State Finals.

His performance last week: “I feel pretty good about it. I’m happy about it, but not satisfied.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “I just kind of do the same warmup every time and self-talk.”

Favorite drink: “Water”

Favorite food: “Pizza”

Favorite class: “Social Studies”

Favorite sports team: “I like watching Indiana University wrestle and some of the guys from East that go there.”

Favorite athlete: “Jordan Burroughs”

Role model: “My dad (Clynton Law)”

Best advice: “Be confident in what you know and what you can do.”

Athletics goal: “To be a state champ.”

If you could travel anywhere: “I’d probably travel to the beach because it’s warm, and I like the water.”

Jones led the Crusaders with seven points, nine rebounds and six steals in Saturday’s 50-27 loss to Evansville Christian in the ICSAA South Regional semifinals.

Her performance last week: “I don’t think I played the best last week. I think I could have played a lot better. I thin we all could have.”

Do you do anything special to prepare? “Sometimes, I’ll listen to music, but that’s pretty much it.”

Favorite drink: “Sweet tea”

Favorite food: “Ribs and steak”

Favorite class: “History”

Favorite sports team: “Minnesota volleyball”

Favorite athlete: “(former Minnesota volleball player and current Louisville coach) Taylor Morgan”

Role model: “My mom (Columbus Christian coach Kay Jones)”

Best advice: “Give 110 percent always. You never know who’s watching, so you always need to make sure you’re doing your best and make sure your attitude is good all the time.”

Athletics goal: “I would like to play basketball in college.”

If you could travel anywhere: “I’ve always wanted to go to Paris. I’ve heard really good things about it, and it seems like it would be really fun to go there.”
