INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana State Bar Association, Indiana State Attorney General’s Office and Feeding Indiana’s Hungry are partnering for the 13th annual March Against Hunger virtual food drive through March 31.
More than 72,000 pounds of food and $430,000 in monetary donations have been collected in the March Against Hunger since 2009.
The effort encourages law firms to raise money for the food-insecure in Indiana. Since many companies have remote workforces this year, the preference of donations is being encouraged over collecting nonperishable food.
Donations may be made to www.inbar.org/march-against-hunger.
The March Against Hunger benefits a wide variety of food banks across the state, including Gleaners Food Bank of Indiana, which provides drive-thu food pantries in Columbus.
