Republic begins online series ‘Hoosiers We’ve Lost’ beginning Sunday

More than 12,000 Hoosiers have died from COVID-19 since March 2020.

There are real names, faces and human stories behind that staggering number.

Beginning this Sunday, we will publish a series of profiles, one a day, at therepublic.com introducing you to Hoosiers who have died from the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.

Twelve Indiana newspapers worked together to create the series, including the papers of AIM Media Indiana.

A new profile will appear on the Republic website daily.

If you have a story you would like to contribute a story of a local resident who has died of COVID-19, please send it for consideration to editorial@therepublic.com.
