• Windrose Health Network for getting me scheduled for my COVID vaccine so quickly.

• President Biden for his efforts to correct the innumerable missteps and abhorrent policies of the former one-term officeholder, and returning the United States back to international relevance.

• the House for passing the Voting Rights bill.

• President Joe Biden who will raise taxes on those making $400,000 or more a year.

• Former President Trump and former Vice President Pence for working with drug companies to develop and test vaccines in record time.

• Virginia for the ham salad, it was appreciated, from Tom and Judy.

• Rep. Greg Pence for standing up against wasteful spending.

• the owners of the Exit 76 Antique Mall for not charging any vendors rent during the government shutdown.

Onions to …

• the former federal elected official who, by his attitude toward many who didn’t agree with him and his spoken words, brought out racism and hatred in so many Americans.

• military planes flying very low over housing additions Friday.

• people who don’t know what is in the HR1 bill.

• the riverfront project, a very expensive boondoggle and sinkhole for consultant money.

• people who made the wrong choice for president.

• those who supported the former president and tried to overthrow the democratic and fair election with the insurrection who are traitors to our representative democracy.

• the federal elected official for showing who is boss rather than his predecessor, who brought home the troops and created a more peaceful planet.

• politicians wanting to restrict absentee voting and mail-in ballots because they’re afraid they might lose otherwise.

• the elected official for protecting the firearm “rights” of violent domestic abusers.

• the elected official for his continued lame excuse of “partisan poison pills” for voting against the VAWA, he needs to get over his prejudices and remember trans-women are more susceptible to violence.

• people who complain when someone votes differently on bills because they themselves have not read the bills.

• those in favor of taking away the voter I.D. requirement.

• the elected official who always has to have his picture taken and something to say every day.

• the local elected official, one of 172 Republicans, who believe a man — even one convicted of stalking or assault — can buy a gun over protecting women from gun violence.

• to the elected official’s columns filled with bigotry and lies.

• those continuing to praise the former president, excusing his daily lies and attempts to overthrow an election by by instigating violence.

• the elected offiail who voted to protect a domestic abuser’s right to own a firearm over the abused getting shot and killed by it.

• the administration for not allowing press at the border.

• never taking a poll of voters or residents to see just how few are actually in favor of the expensive riverfront project.

• the federal elected official now exhibiting more physical decline falling up a set of stairs three times.

• voting members of the political party who just added to the history of their war chest by voting against aid to the American people.

• the hate-filled letter condemning our country.

• whoever stole my dad’s scooter at 14th and Sycamore streets.
