• Chick-Fil-A for being the friendliest and most efficient restaurant in town.

• relaxing mandates on how deal with the coronavirus.

• Tom Linebarger for continuing to make me proud to work at Cummins.

• those that will continue to mask and take other precautions in spite of the state mask mandate being lifted.

• President Joe Biden for putting working people first instead of billionaires.

• former President Barack Obama who got the number of illegal border crossings to a 40-year low.

• the lovely lady who paid for my lunch Tuesday at Wendy’s.

• Snyder’s Environmental Service for fair estimates and fantastic, prompt work.

Onions to …

• those pushing the riverfront project.

• the political party that wants to make gun ownership easy but make it harder to vote.

• anyone else tired of a local manufacturing company’s political view.

• people who think they know what is in a bill, but only hear what they want.

• a state where it’s easy to buy an assault rifle and hard to buy medical cannabis.

• the country bashing the U.S. when they treat their people a lot worse.

• the out of control, irresponsible spending by federal officials of our hard-earned tax dollars.

• the policy of the current federal administration to break anything that does not need broken.

• the current administration limiting what border patrol can share with the media about the surge in undocumented migrants.

• those who think the virus was no big deal now that the state mandate is being lifted.

• legislators who observe moments of silence and then vote against universal background checks.

• not one member of a political party voting for the American Rescue Act.

• the political party griping about the filibuster now after they did the same thing the last four years.

• the local plumbing company that took advantage of a single woman for work that was done by another company at a third of the price.
