1) Native Columbus actresses Marja and Chasten Harmon will speak via Zoom at 5:30 p.m. today for the second segment of the Columbus Area Arts Council’s series "Women Makers, Artists, and Entrepreneurs — Working & Living in Full Color." This particular presentation’s specific title is, "On Stage: Black Feminism, Film and the Performing Arts with Chasten and Marja Harmon." If you’ve ever heard them offer their viewpoints on topics such as race or gender, you know they are as forthright as they are talented. 2) Comedian Hoss Ridgeway, who has appeared on such national TV shows as "Mike Huckabee Today," will headline family friendly standup comedy at 7 p.m. Friday at The Pixy Theatre, 111 S. Walnut St. in Edinburgh. Ridgeway rifs on childhood memories ranging from the curse of husky jeans to forgetting his mask at the bank. Also on the bill are comics Ryan May and Blake Champlin. 3) Beyond the boundaries of entertainment, the Bartholomew County Public Library is presenting "Neurodiversity 101" via Zoom at 11 a.m. April 12. Jenna Gensic, author of "What Your Child on the Spectrum Really Needs: Advice from 12 Autistic Adults," presents a primer to understanding the neurodiversity paradigm as it relates to autism and building a foundation for learning about autism acceptance.
