FRANKLIN
Rick L. Turnmire, 66, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his home.
Rick was born September 7, 1954, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Donald Hill and Carolyn Turnmire Allman.
Rick enjoyed fishing, camping and enjoying a cold beer. He loved music and spending time with his children and his friends. He liked to play basketball and played while attending Columbus North High School.
Survivors include his children, Jeffrey Lynn Turnmire, Ricky Turnmire of Nineveh, Nikita “Victoria” Livingston, Crystal Turnmire, Christina Turnmire, Dusty Turnmire, Ricky Turnmire, all of Columbus; grandson, Dillon Turnmire; sister, Mary Perdue; brothers, William “Billy” (Gina) Allman, Jr., Steven Allman, Sr., Samuel Allman, all of Columbus, Charles Allman of Wabash, Vance Allman of Grammar; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Allman, Sr., mother, Carolyn Turnmire Allman, former wife, Peggy J. Turnmire and biological father, Donald Hill.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Healing Waters Full Gospel Church, 2330 Midway Street, Columbus, Indiana 47201, with Pastor Jerry Barnhart officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Monday at church. Due to pandemic restrictions, we ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the church and masks are required.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
