Edinburgh to host Unified hoops event
Edinburgh will host the Unified Basketball Shootout on Saturday.
The host Lancers will play Columbus East in the opener at 11 a.m. Morristown will face Indian Creek at 11:40 a.m., followed by East vs. Morristown at 12:20 p.m., Edinburgh vs. Indian Creek at 1 p.m., East vs. Indian Creek at 1:40 p.m. and Edinburgh vs. Morristown at 2:20 p.m.
Admission is $2, and face coverings are mandatory. T-shirts will be on sale for $15.
Youth can register for shooting sports program
The Hoosier Hills Rifle and Pistol Club is once again hosting a shooting sports program for boys and girls ages 13 to 18.
Youth will learn gun safety, marksmanship skills, and earn skill awards using 22-caliber rifles shooting at paper targets at an outdoor range. Certified instructors and coaches are provided.
Training and practice sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings starting April 7. For information and to apply, call 812-376-8922.
