SAN ANTONIO — Tyler Duncan fired a 1-under-par 71 in Friday’s second round to move into a tie for 33rd place at the midway point of the Valero Texas Open.
Starting on the back nine, the 2008 Columbus North graduate, carded a 2-under 34 on his first nine and a 1-over 37 on the front. He had opened with a 73 on Thursday and sits at even-par 144 through 36 holes.
Cameron Trinagle leads the tournament at 9-under 135. Matt Wallace and Jordan Spieth are two shots back at 7-under 137.
