Honey is our longest resident here at the shelter, and she just doesn’t understand why she hasn’t been adopted yet. She is a six year old shepherd mix and an active girl who loves to run and play! Honey is very toy motivated. Honey’s favorite thing to do is to play fetch out in the yard. She will also keep herself entertained and play by herself with her large rope toy. Honey does well with other dogs her size as long as they are polite. She doesn’t like being jumped on. Honey has a major prey drive and would not do well in a home with cats or small dogs.
Clifford the big red dog is a 1.5 year old neutered male. This stunning boy came in very scared and afraid of nearly everything and everyone. He has transitioned to a much more confident boy who walks well on a leash and just wants to please you! He’s had some training with one of our awesome volunteers so he walks well on a leash and knows his manners even if he sometimes needs to be reminded. He is high energy and sometimes just can’t contain his excitement about life but with patience and a reminder of his training, he is able to focus again. Clifford does well with some dogs but not all so meet and greets are required.
All cats are $80 and all dogs are $100 which covers having them spayed or neutered, up to date on shots (age appropriate), and microchipped.
