INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Department of Health said 908 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings to 699,823 the number of Indiana residents now known to have had the novel coronavirus following corrections to the previous day’s dashboard.
To date, 12,746 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19, an increase of three from the previous day. Another 405 probable deaths have been reported based on clinical diagnoses in patients for whom no positive test is on record.
A total of 3,306,130 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana, up from 3,303,200 on Sunday. A total of 9,242,439 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020.
Bartholomew County reported 7,818 positive tests (up 11) with 153 deaths (no change) as of Monday.
Surrounding counties reported:
Jackson County: 4,902 positive cases (up four) with 69 deaths (no change).
Jennings County: 2,241 positive cases (no change) with 47 deaths (no change).
Decatur County: 2,785 positive cases (up five) with 92 deaths (no change).
Shelby County: 4,751 positive cases (up five) with 95 deaths (no change).
Johnson County: 17,371 positive cases (up 21) with 371 deaths (no change).
Brown County: 990 positive cases (up one) with 40 deaths (no change).

As of Monday, a total of 3,403,950 doses of vaccine have been administered in Indiana. This includes 1,993,880 first doses and 1,410,070 individuals who are fully vaccinated. The fully vaccinated number represents individuals who have received a second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines and those who received the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
