COLUMBUS
Nancy Powers of Columbus, Indiana passed away Wednesday, April 14th. She was born June 19, 1935 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Dorsey and Winnifred Powers.
Nancy was preceded in death by her dear friend Phyllis Dykins and her beloved dog Quincy.
She is survived by her brother Jack (Ruth) Powers and nephews and nieces Tod (Kim) Powers, David (Nancy) Powers, Alicia (George) Alexander and Laura Kidd (Dave Rhein). Nancy is also survived by ten great nephews and nieces and seven great, great nephews and nieces.
Her sense of humor and love of practical jokes made her always fun to be around.
As an animal lover contributions can be made in her memory to the Bartholomew County Humane Society.
Memorial Service is planned Saturday May 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1751 27th Street, Columbus. Please follow COVID precautions.
