Rodney Allen Smith, 46, of Indianapolis, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Monday, April 12, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital. Rodney was born on November 13, 1974, in Columbus, Indiana, the son of Rodney Lee Smith and Mandy Lockridge. Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Smith; father, Rodney Lee Smith; step-mother, Connie Smith; brothers, Jason Smith, Louie Smith; sisters, Jessica Smith and Melissa Palmer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mandy Jefferies. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington. We do ask that visitors follow the social distancing guidelines once inside the funeral home and masks are required. A graveside service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Moravian Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Bragg officiating.
