Indiana State Police seek tips on deceased man’s identity

RIPLEY COUNTY — Detectives from the ISP-Versailles Post are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found deceased in rural Ripley County.
Troopers were called to a location west of the town of Osgood, Indiana shortly after 10 a.m. Tuesday after a man was found deceased.
At this point, the identity of the man remains a mystery and the cause of death is not known, state police said. The information available at this point is that the individual is a white male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes, in his 30s to mid 40s. The deceased had some distinct tattoos that are being shared with the hopes that someone recognizes the tattoos and can assist in identifying the person.
