• the city employee who picked up my discarded shrubbery, even though it wasn’t on his route that day, for being very polite and accommodating, from a Washington Park resident.

• Joe at Autozone for outstanding customer service in helping us with our car battery.

• Jewell Rittman Funeral home, Vernon Jewell and the entire staff, thank you for your impeccable attention to every detail, your love and compassion shown to our family, Rick would have been so proud.

• a half truth is a full lie.

• people who don’t believe in religion.

• business leaders telling me what and how to think, I, and most others, can think for ourselves.

• the store for poor customer service, ignoring us when we just wanted to buy a car battery.

• the fact that if the only tool you have is a gun, then everyone looks like a threat.

• the facility that used high pressure sales tactics to talk my father into something he does not want.

• the city-owned facility with no plan on how it is to be used, hence no budget for improvements.

• the leader of the gun organization for killing an elephant point blank.

• those not telling the truth but having to remember the current lie version and then keep changing it as facts emerge.

• law makers who are giving themselves more power than the governor or citizens who they are supposed to represent.

• the nurse who wanted me to shake her hand, I thought we were still in a pandemic and that type of contact was to be avoided.

• elected officials considering hiring someone to decide how to spend money, rather than using people we are already paying.

• not insisting that center lane on Johnson Boulevard leading to West State Road 46 should be not only a straight lane but also a left lane.

• individuals who speed on Terrace Lake Road and Carr Hill Road and then pass on a double yellow line.

• the teenage girls at the party who thought it was funny to throw a tampon in the older couple’s driveway.

• TV commercials attempting to change opinions on social issues when marketing their products.

• those who do not understand that not all gun owners are hunters, some people want to protect their homes and target practice.

• those who think that law-abiding citizens shouldn’t have AR-15s and AK-47s, if they’re on a gun range or have enough property to shoot them.

• people spreading lies saying any party is banning beef.

• the relative who didn’t believe in the vaccine and is now in his third week in ICU on a ventilator, potentially leaving behind his family.

• those who think it’s their responsibility to shame and place guilt on able-bodied adult Americans who chose not to get the experimental injection.

• the large grocery store self-check out machines that are not user friendly.

• federal discord which is hurting America.
