1) Elvis Presley’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker, can’t find the King when he needs him to perform — to help pay off Parker’s gambling debts. That sets up the beginning of the comic drama in Actors Studio of Hope’s latest dinner theater comedy “Elvis Has Left the Building,” slated for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at Willow Leaves of Hope, 326 Jackson St. Face masks and social distancing are required. Director Naomi Fleetwood-Pyle, who loves Elvis like she loves the stage, summarizes the production in more-than-apt terms. “I know that I have a hit on my hands," she said. Information and reservations: 812-546-0640.
2) You can have a few laughs and help others at the same time at the Stand Up For Life comedy show at 7 p.m. Friday at The Pixy Theatre at 111 S. Walnut St. in Edinburgh. Comedians Rob Wilfong, Dan Paswell, Ryan Shipley and more will take the stage. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Admission is $10 for what organizers say is a family-friendly event.
3) Since the weather has warmed, Brown County’s rustic charm is calling many. To help lure you to the hills and the shops and the eateries, the nonprofit Brown County Art Guild has launched its spring exhibit — a distinct collection of portraits, landscapes, and still-lifes, plus an abstract show. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. Information: browncountyartguild.org
