A film crew from the CBS program "Sunday Morning" spent three days in Columbus filming the Miller House, North Christian Church, Cummins’ corporate headquarters, the courthouse and other noted buildings for an episode to be televised later in the month.

1996

Columbus Regional Hospital board of trustees voted unanimously in favor of establishing its first training program for a family practitioner residency for medical school graduates.

1971

About 75 people underwent the first training session to be volunteers in Columbus’ new Hot Line program, an information and referral service to help area residents cope or find assistance with a wide range of problems.
