Duke Energy continuing to work on power outage between Nashville and Columbus

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Duke Energy is continuing to work on one remaining power outage after a severe thunderstorm swept through the Columbus area early Monday.

An outage continues affecting about 140 customers between Nashville and Columbus, with power expected to be restored by 7:30 a.m., Duke officials said.

A larger outage of 2,100 customers in the area around Washington Street between 11th and 25th streets was repaired by 7:30 a.m. when power was restored.

Customers who are without power are asked to call Duke Energy at 1-800-343-3525.
