North falls to Fishers

WESTFIELD — Class 4A No. 2 Columbus North dropped its second consecutive contest, a 4-3 decision against Fishers in a game Monday that was moved to Grand Park because of a wet field at Fishers.

Luke Harmon threw a four-hitter for the Bull Dogs (20-4-1). North managed just three hits, including a double by Austin Bode.

Lancers down Braves

BROWNSTOWN — Edinburgh closed the regular season with a 4-1 win at Brownstown Central.

Annelise Lollar beat Ava McKinney 6-4, 7-6 at No. 1 singles, Bethany Burton topped Emily Mann 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Jessica Walsh blanked Jenna Bolte 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles for the Lancers (5-9). Zoey Sida and Gracie Myers downed Lexie Satterthwaite and Lydia Luedeman 6-1, 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.

Edinburgh’s Alyssa Funkhouser and Izzy Richardson fell to Hannah Hackman and Chelsea Luedeman 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Royals edge Jets

CHARLOTTESVILLE — Hauser won both doubles matches, but Eastern Hancock swept the singles to claim a 3-2 victory.

Aunaka Wasil and Emily Harker beat Audrey Rice and Mikayla Hardy 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles for the Jets (8-6). Charlie Clark and Gabby Johns topped Kalyn Edwards and Lilly Richmond 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

Hauser’s Andie Clark fell to Chloe McCarty 6-3, 3-6, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, Bella Kilps lost to Savannah Hardin 6-1, 7-5 at No. 2 singles and Kaitlynn Everroad fell to Tori Parker 7-5, 6-4 at No. 3 singles.

Liz Ertel and Sydney Carson beat Michelle Batta and Elizabeth Kirchgassner 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles for the Panthers (13-8).

Jennings’ Reagan Brown fell to Heidi Kane 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, Tatum Brown lost to Payton Pies 6-3, 6-1 at No. 2 singles and Carmen Kopitzke fell to Riley Bamerger 6-4, 6-1 at No. 3 singles. Cassidy Mull and Hannah Green lost to Lacey Kelley and Avery Daniels 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
