COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies are investigating vandalism to mailboxes in the Armuth Acres area reported to investigators on Sunday.
According to deputies mailboxes of eight to 10 homes were spray painted with gold and white paint.
The vandalism is believed to have taken place between 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday.
Spray paint was also found on the road and stop sign at Norris Lane and Marr Road, and the stop sign at North Keith Drive West and West County Road 600N.
Sheriff Matt Myers said this vandalism is a big inconvenience to the homeowners and deputies hope to identify who did this, charge them and obtain restitution for the damage.
