Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, in partnership with the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration Division of Aging, announces that nominations are being accepted for the 2021 Golden Hoosier Award.
The award began in 2008 and honors Hoosier senior citizens for their lifetime of service and commitment to their communities.
To be eligible for the award, the nominee must be an Indiana resident age 65 or older and have been a volunteer in the community for the past three years.
Deadline for applications is June 19. Nomination forms are available electronically at in.gov/lg/2732.htm. A virtual ceremony to honor those who are chosen is planned for later this year.
