Sadie is a female, 7 years young, Beagle/Bassett mix with a white with red coat and blue eyes that twinkle like stars on a dark, clear night. No one can resist her velvety Bassett ears and sweet personality. She is always ready to go for a walk or spend snoop time in the yard. Sadie will be spayed, current on vaccinations, placed on flea and heartworm preventative and microchipped before she is adopted.
Archimedes was one of three strays found in a box at a local business. It was not long after arriving at the shelter we learned he had been declawed on all four paws! Despite the significant pain he was in from the declawing procedure, Archimedes was very sweet and loving. His toes were surgically repaired as much as possible and after recovery time, he is feeling better. Archimedes will likely be on pain medicine for the rest of his life. He now spends his days lounging on the cat tree, sleeping in a hammock, or asking for pets from staff and volunteers. He is great with other cats, would do well with older children but no dogs please. Archimedes is 2 years old, neutered, declawed on all four feet, current on vaccinations and FIV/FeLV negative.
