Detroit police: Alcohol may be factor in crash that killed 2

DETROIT — A 29-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with an early morning crash that killed a 4-year-old boy who was in her car and the driver of another vehicle in northwest Detroit.

The man driving the second car was pronounced dead at the scene of the 1:30 a.m. Wednesday crash, according to Detroit police.

The child was pronounced dead at a hospital, while the woman was hospitalized in temporary serious condition.

Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash which remained under investigation.
