Do your research before getting inoculated

In 2020, our heroes (nurses, doctors, EMTs) were lavishly praised for and entrusted with caring for your loved ones who were dying out of your reach in healthcare facilities. The heroes worked with used PPE and neglected their own families to cover shifts when co-workers fell ill.

How quickly we have gone from honoring and respecting the healthcare worker (valuing their judgement) to ostracizing their hesitancy to be injected with a fast-tracked "solution” to a virus to which they may already have immunity!

Critical thinking is a characteristic we should value in our healthcare providers. Logically, they understand that Moderna’s clinical trials don’t end until October 2022; and Pfizer’s January 2023. Companies are completely immune from all liability.

Would you buy a new concept car without a warranty? Undoubtedly, these heroes are familiar with the CDC VAERS reporting system that historically only captures 1%. Does the risk exceed the benefit? If you received the shots already, were you given the long list of possible adverse reactions? If not, why not?

University students are now required to get the experimental (still under trials) shot. This at the same time as 475 cases of myocarditis (heart inflammation) in young vaccinated people are under review by the CDC. Are we sacrificing the next generation?

IU has graciously stated that "papers" are not necessary as proof, but but students must attest they have gotten their shots. Medical and religious exemptions are available, but those requesting such will be segregated by masking and additional testing for a virus with a survivability rate “without any treatment," per the CDC, of 99.997% in age groups 0-19. For ages 20-50 it’s 99.98%.

A recent letter writer said no one has the right to harm others. I would agree. The CDC has stated getting the “vaccine” does not prevent infection or transmission; but, may reduce symptoms. So, who is selfish, those refusing an investigational agent or those so fearful they care not what life-long injury might occur to others injected?

Did our heroes become a zero? Why are they now facing loss of jobs if they refuse the shot? They risked their lives for yours. Where there is risk there must be consent, not coercion.

Are you depending on lifelong professional bureaucrats and the News or honored global researchers who are warning we know nothing of long-term side effects?

Fact check the Fact-checkers. Call the universities and tell them students, staff, and faculty should not be trial subjects. Allow students to assimilate without fear of humiliation among peers and professors. Tell these mega healthcare facilities that workers deserve body autonomy not threat of loss of a career or job.

Our leaders in the Indiana General Assembly failed. It’s up to all of us!
