FRANKLIN — The Indiana Professional Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists recently announced winners for its 2021 contest.
Franklin College and Columbus East grad Emily Hales was among those receiving honors. Both awards were for her work in The Franklin, a student news magazine at Franklin College.
Hales placed first in "Best Design Other Than Page One or Cover" for her entry “Reeducation" and second place in the same category for “Unexcused."
