FORT WAYNE — Columbus North graduates Bryce Turner and Henry Kiel are tied for 72nd place after the opening round of the Indiana Amateur Championship.
Turner, who will be a senior at St. Francis, and Kiel, who will be a junior at Evansville, each shot 7-over-par 79 in Monday’s opening round at Sycamore Hills. Jennings County grad Bryce Kirchner, who will be a sophomore at Vincennes University, is tied for 102nd after and 82.
Cole Bradley of West Lafayette leads the tournament at 3-under 69. Four golfers are tied for second at 1-under 71.
