Your patriotic weekend can be lit from start to finish with fire in the sky today and Sunday.

QMIX Musical Fireworks, choreographed to snippets of pop-rock tunes broadcast on 107.3 FM radio, are slated to begin at 10 p.m. today at Columbus Municipal Airport. Because of heath-related safety precautions, there will be no food booths, children’s games or spinoff activities such as live music or professional wrestling.

And Ceraland Park will present its annual fireworks show Sunday evening after darkness falls at 3989 S. County Road 525E southeast of Columbus. Park admission is $5 per vehicle for those without park passes. The weather forecast for both today and Sunday is for mostly clear skies.
