• Kevin Johnson’s Wednesday crew for volunteering to build new steps to accommodate my wife’s walker, from Robin and Ronnie.

• Kaleb Crowder, Emily Harker and Ryan Waltz for winning the Working Chute Contest!

• the National Weather Service for continuing to use the name “Independence Day” when referencing July 4th.

• Bartholomew County for the new fair vendor, this year was amazing, great job!

• all who realize that COVID infections now are all from those who are unvaccinated.

• Sarah and Barb in recovery at CRH for the extra help and terrific teamwork after my surgery, from Harmony Rosenbalm.

• Connie Kelly for helping me with groceries and housecleaning to make me more comfortable after surgery, from Harmony Rosenbalm.

• all responsible for placing a stop sign midway down Goeller Road.

• the local fair board for having one of the worst fairs around.

• those that don’t realize that even 100% tax wouldn’t help the debt because government would give it away for no good reason.

• authorities going after the former federal elected official when they can’t even do anything for the violence in the city.

• the opinion article that never mentions being a responsible father and providing for your family.

• the federal leader who is letting fentanyl pour across our southern border in record numbers.

• the adult bicycle riders riding the wrong way in the downtown area.
