Three men were arrested Sunday afternoon after Columbus police received a report that a man was pointing a gun outside an apartment building.
At approximately 3:25 p.m., officers responded to the Arbors at Water’s Edge Apartments, located in the 4000 block of North County Road 150W, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.
When CPD arrived, they located a number of people standing outside the apartment building in question, Harris said.
A short time later, officers located an AR-15 style pistol inside of a nearby vehicle, Harris said. The officers also located a stolen 9mm handgun inside a second vehicle, he said.
The following persons were arrested on the preliminary charges listed below and were remanded to the Bartholomew County Jail:
— Devinion Fuller, 18, of Edinburgh, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of marijuana.
— Jacob Hamm, 20, of Columbus, Bartholomew County warrant.
— Jordan D. May, 18, of Columbus, pointing a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of a handgun without a license.
