The Columbus East athletic department announced Thursday that Jerone Wood will become the next boys track coach.
Wood was an assistant of the boys track team for the past few years. He replaces Scott Pherson, who ended up taking a position as Director of Fitness and Performance Center at Concord High School in northern Indiana.
