I-65 in Jackson County reopens after vehicle fire in northbound lanes

SEYMOUR — Indiana State troopers have reopened I-65 northbound between Crothersville and Seymour after a vehicle caught fire at about 12:30 p.m. in the brush near the interstate. The scene was cleared by about 1:30 p.m.

The car fire occurred near the northbound 39.5 mile marker in Jackson County.

The driver was able to exit the vehicle on his own after the crash and he was not injured, state police said.
