Columbus police officers arrested a wanted man on several drug-related charges, including dealing methamphetamine, after he was observed riding a bicycle Monday night.

At about 10:45 p.m., CPD officers observed Micah E. Fisher, 44, of 1620 Union St., riding a bicycle near FairOaks Mall. The officers noted that Fisher had an active Bartholomew County warrant for his arrest for dealing methamphetamine, said Lt. Matt Harris, Columbus Police Department spokesman.

Fisher was taken into custody without incident and while searching his backpack, the officers reportedly located multiple containers of narcotics, several plastic baggies, and a digital scale, Harris said.

Fisher was placed under arrest and transported to the Bartholomew County Jail where he was remanded on the following preliminary charges:

Bartholomew County warrant (original charge: dealing in methamphetamine)

  • Dealing methamphetamine
  • Possession of methamphetamine
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

Fisher was being held in jail in lieu of $203,500 bond, jail officials said.
