TULLAHOMA, TENN.
Margaret Ann Linneweber passed peacefully from this life on June 30, 2021 in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Born in Bicknell Indiana on January 22, 1932. Margaret Ann was the daughter of Edward C. (Eddie) and Mary Alice (Alice) McArthur.
Margaret Ann graduated from Bicknell High School where she developed lifelong friends. Margaret Ann and Don Linneweber were married on July 28, 1951 in Bicknell, Indiana and celebrated 63 years as wife and husband. They were avid Indy 500 race fans, enjoyed watching IU and UK basketball, and spending time with family.
Margaret worked in the nursing field throughout her career and was an occupational nurse at Arvin Industries (ArvinMeritor) when she retired. Margaret and Don enjoyed winters on Longboat Key, Florida, boating, sand, sunshine, friends and family.
In addition to her parents and step-grandson Matt Anderson, her husband Don preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter Cathy (Ben) Hall, Tennessee, son Tom (Martha Hathaway) Linneweber, Georgia, grandchildren Ryan (Lyndsey Wampler) Linneweber, Columbus, Indiana, Greg (Jessica) Linneweber, Westfield, Indiana, step-grandchildren John Anderson, Carly Anderson and Scott (Catherine) Anderson, and great grandsons Kai Linneweber, Cooper Linneweber, and Shepard Linneweber.
A memorial service was held on Saturday July 17, 2021 at the Salem United Church of Christ Westphalia, Indiana. This announcement was delayed due to COVID-19 social distancing considerations.
