BARDSTOWN
Don R. Kimery, passed away peacefully, in his sleep, in the early morning hours on Sunday August 8th 2021. He was born October 9th, 1928, in Johnson County Indiana to Ralph and Clara Kimery, the oldest son of twelve siblings. He served his country in the Korean War.
In addition to his passing he was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years Barbara, their two daughters Tami and Sharon along with his siblings; Avon (Joe) Hunhke, Mary (Jeff) Tracy, Leila (Rollings) Guffin, Erma (Joe) Potter, Ray (Dinah) Kimery, Jim (Celeste) Kimery.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sons Randy (Lois) and Roger (Dawn); siblings Margaret Luise – Pat (Joe) Fisher, Reba (Bob) Keaton, Elsie (Jerry) Martin, Dick (Treva), and Sue Scott along with a vast number of extended family members.
Cremation was chosen, and his life celebration will be on August 22, 2021 at the Bardstown United Methodist Church with his beloved church family, COVID protocols observed, including face coverings.
The love he shared will have a lifelong impact on those who were lucky enough to have been touched by him.
