COLUMBUS
Lily Joanne Streeval, 16, of Columbus, passed from this life unexpectedly at 8:19 a.m. Monday, August 30, 2021, at the Columbus Regional Hospital Emergency Room as the result of a hit and run.
Lily was born June 24, 2005, in Marion County, the daughter of Mark W. Streeval and Teresa E. Burbrink.
She was a Junior at Columbus East High School where she was involved in the C-4 auto mechanic program.
She was looking forward to getting her drivers license and enjoyed playing pool and kayaking.
Survivors include her mother, Teresa E. Burbrink of Columbus; father, Mark W. Streeval of Taylorsville; brother, Ryan Burbrink of Columbus; grandparents, Larry and Charlene Burbrink of Columbus and Henrietta Streeval of Taylorsville and serval aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Vilisus Streeval.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mark Teike officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the church.
A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
