State Road 58 work to begin

Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to begin daily closures on State Road 58 between the south junction of State Road 258 and the Jackson-Bartholomew county line starting Tuesday. Crews will be replacing multiple culverts along the highway.

Closures are scheduled to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the next two weeks, weather permitting. Work will begin near State Road 258 and move east. Access will be maintained for residents in the area.

Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
