Donna Jean Jones, 69, of Norman, passed from this life at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.
Mrs. Jones was born August 1, 1952, in Columbus, the daughter of Marshall and Barbara Bailey McMillan.
Donna married Mervine E. Jones May 10, 1969. He preceded her in death March 6, 2015.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed bingo, playing cards and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children, Patty (Joel) Thornton of Elizabeth, Tracy (Brad) Thomas of Norman and Lawrence Jones of Norman; grandchildren, Jamie (Ray) Heflin, David (Jessica) Brooks and Ashley (Craig) Gabbard; great-grandchildren, Brianna Murray, Lucas Gabbard and Wyatt Brooks; sisters, Marsha (Rob) Kritzberger of Columbus and Leigh Ann (Chris) Sandefur of Columbus and a brother, Jimmy (Erin) McMillan of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father, Marshall McMillan; mother, Barbara Aldridge and 2 brothers.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor’s Steve Muster and Jim Pursley officiating.
Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
