HAYDEN
Mr. Michael Banks, 73, of Hayden, passed away on October 5, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in 1948, son of the Herschel Banks and Norma McNeil Irvine in Seymour.
Michael graduated from Jennings County High School and went on to serve in the Navy. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He enjoyed bowling, drag racing, coon hunting, playing cards with family, and working on projects with his son.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael ‘Troy” (Sherry) Banks, Melissa (Fitz) Silvey, Nicole McKay and Melanie (Raphael) Solomon; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother.
He is preceded in death by his father; brother Raymond Banks and sister Sheila Hardwick.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at Voss Funeral Service in Seymour.
Memorials may be written to the Hayden Historical Museum.
In keeping with Michael’s wishes, cremation is being provided by Voss Funeral and Cremation Services.
All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.
