Michael Lynn Beavers

Michael Lynn Beavers, 67, of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life November 9, 2021, in Brown County, Indiana, at the home of his first wife (Sherry Elkins) .
Born August 24, 1954, Michael was the son of the late Billy D. And Faye L. (Allman) Beavers.
Michael was honorably discharged from the Indiana Army National Guard in 1975. He was a painter for many years. He worked at Enkei America, from there he worked at and retired from Faurecia .
Michael enjoyed fishing, camping, old western movies, Harley Davidson Motorcycle riding, and listening to music. Mostly he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Family meant everything to him.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Billy D. Beavers and William P. Moore; infant sister, Pamela Beavers; sister, Meredith Gates; a niece; a nephew; and a great nephew, Jacob Childers.
He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Zachary) Chandler of Brownstown, Indiana, LaQueta (Andrew) Ford of Nashville, Indiana, Suanne (Oren) Sharp of Marengo, Indiana, and Samantha Beavers of Columbus Indiana; stepsons, Justin and Jason Barwick; brother, Terry (Jeri) Beavers of Columbus, Indiana; sisters; Bonita Welch of Columbus, Indiana and Linda (Barry) Williams of Seymour, Indiana; 14 Grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and a great grandson due in May 2022.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 15, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Mike Whited officiating. A live stream of the funeral service may be viewed at barkesweaverglick.com.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 12 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
Michael will be laid to rest in the Garden of Faith at the Garland Brook Cemetery. Military honors will be presented by the Indiana Army Reserve National Guard Honor Guard and the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
