Ronald Lee Hole

Ronald Lee Hole, 77, a resident of Nashville, Indiana, passed from this life at 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at his home.
Mr. Hole was born in Columbus, Indiana, January 27, 1944, the loving son of James H. and Ruth L. Spiker Hole. On May 24, 1986, Ronald married Linda M. Lucas; she survives.
Mr. Hole was a 1962 graduate of Brown County High School and completed a six year enlistment in the Indiana Army Reserve National Guard.
Immediately after high school, Mr. Hole went to work at Arvin Industries and later went to work at Cummins Engine Company retiring after 30 years of service. After retirement, he worked at the Brown County Parks and Rec. Mr. Hole enjoyed water skiing, IU Basketball, and golf. However, his favorite pastime was spending time with his loving grandchildren.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Linda; daughters, Tammy (Dick) Wray of Brown County and Jackie Board of Bloomington; grandchildren, Heather (David) Ziegelbauer of Brown County, Taylor Arnold of Brown County, and Asia Durham of Indianapolis; his beloved great-granddaughter, Bailey Frick of Brown County; brother, Harold (Anita) Hole of Columbus; two nieces; and two nephews.
Mr. Hole was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Hole and his brother and sister-in-law, James and Phyllis Hole.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike; Pastor Tim Robertson will officiate.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 12 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hole will be laid to rest in the Greenlawn Cemetery Mausoleum in Nashville. Military honors will be presented by the Indiana Army Reserve National Guard Honor Guard and the Brown County Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Vietnam Veterans.
