Turning Point seeks donations for holiday store

Turning Point Domestic Violence Services’ annual Holiday Store is accepting gift donations.

Each year, Turning Point provides clients in need with the opportunity to receive gift assistance through donations from the community.

In 2020, thanks to the community’s generosity, 122 families, which included 235 children, were assisted through the effort.

Donations may be made via Turning Point’s online wish lists on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Target.com.

Links may be found on Turning Point’s website under the “events” tab (turningpointdv.org/events).

Those who wish to donate are invited to view the wish lists, make donations selections and send them to Turning Point by Dec. 6, to ensure delivery to the families in time for the holidays.

For COVID-19 protocols, Turning Point asks that all gifts, checks and gift cards be sent to the administrative offices in the United Way Center building at 1531 13th St., Columbus, IN 47201.

Turning Point Domestic Violence Services serves Bartholomew, Brown, Jackson, Johnson and Shelby counties.
