BCSC COVID-19 cases exceed last year’s total

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. is reporting a total of 669 COVID-19 positive cases since the beginning of the new school year — up 44 from last week’s count and just over last year’s total for the whole school year.

Officials reported that, as of noon on Nov. 19, there have been 580 student cases and 89 staff cases.

In May, the school corp. reported that from August to the end of the 2020-21 school year, there were 665 positive cases. The total included 431 student cases and 234 staff cases.
