Columbus Christian wins

ELLETTSVILLE — Sarah Lorimor poured in a career-high 36 points Friday to lead Columbus Christian to a 59-37 win at Seven Oaks.

Lorimor scored 25 of her points in the second half, for the Crusaders (3-1), who led 28-18 at halftime. Eva Blair finished with 12 points.

Crusaders roll to win

ELLETTSVILLE — Columbus Christian jumped out to a 45-14 halftime lead and went on to claim a 79-36 win at Seven Oaks.

Gabe Ridder led the Crusaders (3-2) with 25 points. Cam Pritchard scored 18, and Jordan Burton added nine.

Panthers rout Cubs

NORTH VERNON — Jennings County picked up its first win of the season, a 101-72 Hoosier Hills Conference triumph against Madison.

Carson McNulty scored 20 points to lead six players in double figures for the Panthers (1-1, 1-0). Carter Kent added 16, Owen Law netted 13, Jacob Vogel had 11 and Lane Zohrlaut and Darius Thomas each added 10.

Lancers down Twisters

EDINBURGH — Class A No. 5 Edinburgh jumped out to a 25-12 lead after one quarter and went on to post a 58-45 win against Oldenburg Academy.

Landen Burton led the Lancers (3-0) with 17 points. Caleb Dewey scored 15, and Jarrett Turner added 11.

Eagles stop T-Birds

BLOOMFIELD — Brown County trailed 11-7 after one quarter, but rallied for a 45-39 win at Eastern Greene.

Carter Kelly led the Eagles (2-1) with 19 points. Ben Wagler and Waylon Patrick each added nine.

Chargers top Cougars

GREENSBURG — South Decatur fell behind 43-30 at halftime and couldn’t catch up in a 69-62 loss to North Decatur.

Hunter Johnson led the Cougars (1-2) with 24 points. Jacob Scruggs added 19.
