Marvin Johnson & Associates and Johnson Witkemper Insurance teamed up to collect the largest haul ever in their annual Thanksgiving canned food drive.
The Columbus companies combined to collect 3,608 pounds of canned goods and nonperishables that will be donated to Love Chapel to assist families in need this season.
Amanda Holt of Johnson & Associates said the companies’ roughly 60 employees joined in a successful drive that surpassed the goal of collecting 3,271 pounds of food.
“This year was most definitely a success,” Holt said.
