PLYMOUTH
Donna Sue Shafer, 57, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 4, 2021 at her home.
Donna was born December 18, 1963, the daughter of Elmer and Doris J. Rotert Conrad. On April 26, 1999, she married Jerry Shafer.
Mrs. Shafer worked as a registered nurse at St. Joseph Regional Hospital. She loved to garden and travel. Donna also had an eye for decorating. She will be missed by those that knew her.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry; daughters, Emily (Ben) Hutchings of Plymouth, Valerie (Tyler) Houin of Bloomington; son, Wayne Davis of South Bend; grandchildren, Carter Davis, Ben Hutchings, Emmett Conrad Houin, Madelyn Hutchings, Abe Hutchings; sister, Julie (Tim) Metz; brother, Doug Conrad, both of Columbus; several nieces and nephews.
She was in preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Conrad and sister, Deb Conrad.
The funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Borchers with Rev. Stephen Wood officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church on Monday.
Burial will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery-Borchers.
